Commercial Sites

Armstrong & Brooks has performed site civil design and engineering services on several commercial sites in the State of California. A&B often provides entitlement services through the local agencies departments for approval at Planning Commission or City Council when appropriate.

Armstrong & Brooks prepared and processed Improvement Plans, Specifications and Estimates for Grading & Drainage Plans required for all the following sites. Civil design bid packages, included site demolition, comprehensive grading and drainage plans, Street Improvement Plans, erosion control and SWPPP, utilities (domestic water, underground fire, sanitary sewer, storm drain, WQMP facilities, for the following projects:

1. EDA County of Riverside, DPSS Norco Facility (approx. 6 acres)
2. EDD County of Riverside, San Jacinto Animal Shelter (approx. 6 acres)
3. Miguel’s Jr. Restaurants, Corona, Norco, Orange, Tustin
4. Tommy’s Hamburgers, City of Industry, City of La Habra
5. Various Commercial Centers, Southern California
6. Medical Office Buildings, Huntington Beach, Bermuda Dunes, Lake Elsinore

Services also included construction support, construction staking, RFI’s, review and approval of shop drawings, field engineering and project consultation as needed for project construction. Project close-out and preparation of “as-built” record plans were also provided to ensure compliance with contract documents.
