Parksites
Armstrong & Brooks has performed design and engineering services on dozens of park sites in Southern California. Typical park projects involve new facilities consisting of ballfields (baseball, softball), combination sports fields (soccer and football), and splash pads/waterparks. Some facilities include skate parks and exercise stations, basketball, volleyball and playgrounds and tot lots. New buildings typically consist of restrooms, concessions, maintenance, and pump rooms with chlorination facilities where water facilities are provided. Parking facilities, pedestrian access, ADA compliance and all other civil engineering services for a typical or park expansion are provided by the firm.
We also prepare Public Improvement Plans for off-site Public Facilities such as Street, Sewer, Water, Storm Drain and Recycled Water Line as required to serve the project. We provide all required services from base map, survey, utilities research, master planning, phasing, conceptual grading and drainage, utility analysis for nearest point of connection, and all technical studies. Studies include Hydrology and Hydraulics, Fire Water Modeling, Water and Sewer Supply Studies for review and approval by utility purveyors, and local governing agencies.
All civil construction drawings, including demolition and phasing, mapping and easements for approval by local Municipality are performed in-house. Bidding support and well as Construction Support Services for review and recommendations pertaining to contractor’s request for information, field engineering, shop drawing review and approval, as well as final project close-out and as-built record plans are services typically provided.
