City of Corona
Civil Engineer responsible for the preparation and processing of plans, specifications and estimates for an 8-acre neighborhood sports park in the City of Corona. Professional services provided included PS&E for topographical design survey, precise grading and drainage plans, sewer and water plans, stormwater pollution prevention plan, erosion control plans, and off-site public sewer facilities to serve the project. The park design consisted of parking lot, playground, and ADA accessibility via sidewalks from Corydon and Stagecoach, a 300-foot ballfield, two (2) playground structures, and a future restroom building. Coordination with US Army COE and California Water Resources Control Board for development with Prado Basin, balanced earthwork within flood plain for no upstream water surface affect, BMP’s for water quality meeting CRWQCB review and approval. The project also required preparation of 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe storm drain design to convey off-site flows safely through the site to a downstream box culvert.
