Cabazon, Riverside County, CA – Riverside County EDA

Professional civil engineering services were provided for a proposed 11-acre park development at the intersection of Broadway and Carmen Avenues in the community of Cabazon.

The project consisted on grading and drainage plans for new multi-use soccer/football fields, a skate park, basketball courts, restroom building, parking lots and street improvement plans for Broadway Avenue and Irene Street. Project design components included a Water Quality Management Plan for an on-site infiltration basin, enhanced grassy swales, pervious pavement designs and green media filtration systems. The project involved coordination and permits with EDA, County Transportation Dept., and Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.

A&B is providing Construction Support Services, including review of all civil related shop drawings, responding to all contractor R.F.I.’s, field meetings and construction support, field changes, and coordination with the County Transportation Department for improvements to Carmen Ave., Broadway Ave., and Irene Street. Over two thousand liner feet on 8-inch water main was also installed in Carmen Ave. and Irene Street with no construction change orders. In addition, all Field Construction Staking for all incidental civil work by A&B with a R.L.S. as requested by EDA.
